I help on documentation and wiki translation.


URip / WatchVideo

URip WatchVideo
URip is an application to get the audio out of YouTube videos. URip was inspired by Ethan and Caroline Anderson and it was one of my first programming projects. It soon derived in WatchVideo, which is an application to watch videos from many Flash based popular sites in an external player; it also supports downloading. URip and WatchVideo are the base for tinyogg.com. WatchVideo comes included by default in VENENUX GNU/Linux.

GNU IceCat

GNU IceCat
GNU IceCat is a rebranded version of Firefox that doesn't recommend nonfree addons. As a hacking excercise I decided to write a Python script to rebrand the Firefox localization files for GNU IceCat. The script is now part of GNU IceCat.

RMS GNU/Linux-libre

RMS GNU/Linux-libre
RMS GNU/Linux-libre is a 100% free version of Slax. RMS stands for RMS's Mostly Slax. I am main maintainer of RMS. I was in charge of patching and compiling Linux-libre, rebranding Slax and KDE, checking the licenses of modules and getting rid of all nonfree software and firmware. The logo, although not my idea, is also my doing.


Parabola GNU/Linux

A project I initially tried to start under the codename gArch, Parabola GNU/Linux is a 100% free version of Arch Linux. My work in Parabola was limited to license checking and nonfree packages filtering. Nowadays I build x86_64 packages every once in a while. This is the distro I'm currently using on my laptop.
